Is posting a listing really free?
Yes, for private sellers. The account, the listing and the messaging are free, and we take no commission on your sales. Paid options — promotion, extra photos, professional accounts — stay optional.
Do I need an account to post?
Yes, a free account is enough: it takes seconds with an email address or your Google account. It lets you manage your listings, reply to buyers and keep your favourites. To simply browse listings, no account is needed.
How long does my listing stay online?
A listing is published for 60 days. You stay in control from your account at any time: edit it, pause it when the item is reserved, or delete it once it is sold.
How many photos can I add?
Three photos are included with a private account, fifteen with a professional one, and packs let you add more. A listing with several sharp photos gets far more enquiries than one without images.
How do buyers contact me?
Through Lokalfinds' built-in messaging: messages reach you in your account and by email, without publishing your phone number. You are free to share your WhatsApp later, once the conversation feels right.
Does Lokalfinds handle payments?
No. No transaction goes through the platform: payment and handover happen directly between buyer and seller, on the terms you agree together. We take nothing from your sales.
How do I avoid scams?
See the item or the property before paying, be wary of a price that is far too low, and refuse any deposit requested remotely by someone you have not met. Every listing goes through human moderation before publication, and a report button sits on every listing and every profile.
I am a professional or an agency — how does it work?
You get a professional account with your own showcase page, a wider photo allowance and catalogue import. The plans are detailed on the Professionals page.
How can I promote my listing?
From your account, a listing can be highlighted in the results, pushed to the top of the list, or shown on the homepage, for the duration you choose. It is optional: a free listing stays visible as normal.
Does Lokalfinds cover the whole island?
Yes, all of Bali: Canggu, Seminyak, Ubud, Uluwatu, Sanur, Denpasar and the surrounding areas. You can filter by area as soon as you land on the listings.
Which languages and currencies?
The site exists in English, French, Indonesian and Russian. Prices show in Indonesian rupiah, US dollars, euros or Australian dollars, with an exchange rate updated automatically.
How do I report a listing or a profile?
A “Report” link sits on every listing and every profile: it alerts our moderation team directly. You can also write to us from the Contact page — we answer in English, French and Indonesian.
