Cookie policy

This page sets out, with full transparency, the cookies and trackers used on the Lokalfinds platform, their purpose, their retention period and the means available to you to manage your consent at any time. It supplements our Privacy Policy, of which it forms an integral part.

1. What is a cookie?

A cookie is a small text file placed on and read from your device (computer, smartphone, tablet) when you visit a site, through your browser. It serves in particular to store information relating to your visit (language preference, login status) or to measure audience. This policy applies more broadly to all “trackers”, which include cookies in the strict sense but also other browser local-storage mechanisms. In accordance with Directive 2002/58/EC known as the “ePrivacy” Directive and the GDPR, the placing and reading of trackers that are not strictly necessary for the service are subject to your prior, freely given, informed and revocable consent.

2. Categories used

Lokalfinds uses three categories of trackers. Strictly necessary (or “technical”) trackers are essential to the operation of the platform and to the provision of the service expressly requested: they do not require your consent (for example the Supabase authentication session, the language preference and, in the browser's local storage, the theme and currency preferences). Anonymised audience measurement trackers are placed only with your consent and make it possible to analyse the aggregated use of the platform without individually identifying visitors. Marketing or advertising trackers are not used to date; they are mentioned here for the sake of transparency, in anticipation of any future change, which would be subject to a specific collection of consent.

3. Detailed list

The table below lists all the trackers actually used. Not all of them are cookies in the strict sense: some preferences are kept in your browser's local storage (localStorage), which is not transmitted to the server and persists until it is cleared. The “Type” column states the mechanism used. This list is kept up to date and refreshed each time a tracker is added or removed.

4. Manage your consent

You may at any time review and change your tracker choices by clicking the button below, which re-opens the consent panel and lets you enable or disable the non-essential categories. Withdrawing consent is as easy as giving it. Your preferences are stored locally, in your browser's storage (key lokalfinds_cookie_consent); they are specific to each browser and device and are not synced between them.

5. Third-party cookies

The platform relies on two main technical providers: Vercel (frontend hosting and delivery) and Supabase (authentication, database and storage). These providers may set cookies strictly necessary for the provision of their service (security, load balancing, session management). No third-party cookie for advertising or profiling purposes is integrated to date. Any change in this respect would be the subject of an update to this policy and, where applicable, a collection of consent.

6. Disable cookies in your browser

Independently of the consent panel, you can configure your browser to accept, block or delete all or some of the trackers. We draw your attention to the fact that blocking strictly necessary trackers is liable to impair the operation of the platform, in particular logging in to your account. Below you will find help links for configuring the main browsers.

7. Your rights

In accordance with the GDPR and the Indonesian UU PDP Law, you have, in respect of the data collected through the trackers, rights of access, rectification, erasure, objection and restriction, as well as the right to withdraw your consent at any time. To exercise these rights or for any question, you may contact our Data Protection Officer (DPO) at contact@lokalfinds.com. This cookie policy forms an integral part of our Privacy Policy.

8. Updates

This cookie policy may change, in particular if new features are added (audience measurement, integration of a third-party service). Any material change will trigger the automatic re-opening of the consent panel in order to obtain, where applicable, a fresh informed consent. We invite you to consult this page regularly.
