Painting JEJAK YANG TERSISA

Title of Work: JEJAK YANG TERSISA Painter: Mastro Tabik Size: 50 cm × 60 cm Medium: Acrylic on Canvas Technique: Palette Knife Technique Concept & Visual Narrative Through this work, Mastro Tabik presents an intense contemplation of landscape, focusing on the dynamics of intertwined branches, roots, and complex land textures. This painting explores the relationship between emptiness, time, and traces of nature. Expressive Palette Knife Texture: The use of palette knife technique produces a very strong impasto effect. Each stroke creates raised rough contours, depicting crisscrossing dry branches and textured earth surfaces with bold and irregular character. Monochromatic Harmony: Wrapped in a monochromatic color palette—a combination of black, gray, and white—this work highlights the depth of visual drama. The contrast between dark and light strengthens an atmosphere that is silent, cold, yet full of emotional energy. Perspective & Composition: Strokes concentrated at the bottom of the canvas and gradually blurring toward the background create the illusion of landscape depth (depth of field), inviting the eye to continue exploring every textural detail. Placement Recommendations With an intimate medium size of 50 × 60 cm and a natural frame finish, this work is very suitable to be placed in: Workspaces & Reading Rooms: Bringing a calm contemplative atmosphere and helping with focus. Gallery / Minimalist Corner: Becoming an elegant accent piece on plain or contemporary-toned walls.
